Edmonds City Council Tuesday to revisit items delayed from last business meeting, plus study session

Last week, the Edmonds City Council business meeting ended abruptly when there weren’t enough votes to extend the meeting to take care of unfinished business. Two items of unfinished business from that meeting will be added to the agenda prior to Tuesday night’s study session: adoption of the 2015 City of Edmonds Comprehensive Plan and an ordinance amending the Edmonds City Code provisions relating to council committee meetings.

That meeting will begin at 7 p.m., after the council convenes in executive session starting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss collective bargaining and real estate.

In addition, during the abbreviated business session the council will also receive the Edmonds Arts Commission Annual Report for 2014 and consider authorizing the mayor to sign a contract change order for the 228th Street Southwest Corridor Improvement Project.

During the study session, the council will discuss:

– An award of the construction contract for the 220th Overlay Project and the 238th Street Southwest Walkway Project.
– Discuss agreements with Frontier and Snohomish County PUD for the underground conversion of overhead utility lines within the 76th Avenue and 212th Street Intersection Improvements project.

The meeting will be in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. You can see the complete agenda here.
