The Nourishing Network was created in 2014, in partnership with the Edmonds School District to serve as a weekend meal program for the district’s homeless and low-income families. Currently, there are approximately 500 homeless students in the District, with, on average, 37% of families on free and reduced lunch programs. The Nourishing Network provides weekend meals to families in need in partnership with a network of community supporters including faith-based organizations, civic groups and other volunteer organizations.
