On Saturday, Aug. 22, the Edmonds Lions Club will be kicking off its annual Food Bank raffle by selling tickets at the Edmonds Summer Market. All the proceeds will benefit the Edmonds Food Bank located at the Edmonds United Methodist church. Last year, the raffle raised $5,000.
The cost of a raffle ticket is the same as it has been for years — $1.
Those entering will have a chance to win gift certificates donated by the following: All Seasons Charter Fishing, Girardis, Café De Paris, Arnies, Romeo’s, Las Brisas, Copper Pot, Gift Basket from Safeway, Rusty Pelican, Here and There Food Truck, Pancake Haus, IGA, Soups On, Portifinos, Arista Wine, Chanterelle, The Loft, North China Restaurant, Canaro Gelato Café, Five Restaurant and Bistro, Hamburger Harry’s and Café Louvre.
Tickets will also be sold at the Edmonds Car Show Sunday, Sept. 13, the third Thursday Edmonds Art Walk Sept. 17 and Oct. 15. And on one Saturday in September, Lions Club members will be selling tickets at Edmonds Family Market/ IGA.
The drawing will be Nov. 23, 2015, and winners will be contacted the following day.
