For the second straight year, Edmonds’ own Scott’s Bar and Grill took two of three top honors in Friday’s Taste of Edmonds Tasteoff, an annual tradition where judges choose their favorite dishes.
Scott’s, located in the Lake Ballinger neighborhood, won Best Side Dish honors for its Broadway Pea Salad and also took the top prize for Best Dessert, with its Key Lime Pie. Best Main Dish this year went to Pat’s Philly Steak for its Crab and Shrimp Chowder. Last year, Scott’s Key Lime Pie was also the dessert winner, while the restaurant’s Rigatoni Bolognese won Best Main Dish.
A Taste of Edmonds, the annual festival hosted by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, runs through Sunday night at the Civic Center Playfield.
Hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $4 daily (ages 12 and under free).
