What’s you’ll find at the Edmonds Museum Market this week: Veggies, meat, bread

Edmonds-Historical-Museum_Summer-Market_Logo-TanThe rain may fall and a breeze may blow, but never fear —  the market returns this Saturday.

I cannot imagine a better day to wander the market and pick up some fresh tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, onions and more to make a fantastic ratatouille, stew or sauce. Pair it with some chicken from Sky Valley Farm, or maybe lamb from Martiny Livestock.

Pick up some fresh crusty bread from one of our bakeries to serve with the dish, and maybe a pie from Deborah’s with a pint of Ice Cream from Whidbey Island to finish of the meal! On the side, maybe a fresh salad, with some peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and even smoked salmon on top.

While picking up all the fixings for the meal, check out the fine selection of crafters and artists who will be joining us. From hand-made cutting boards or salad bowls, to beautiful accents for the table or garden, or even something sparkly to brighten your own day, you will find it at the market.

What a great way to celebrate the first big rain of the season, Don’t forget the flowers to make the table complete, and enjoy the day.
