The Edmonds-based Alderwood Terrace Rotary Club recognized Mountlake Terrace High School Senior Paxtyn Merten as the Alderwood Terrace Rotary Club Student of the Month today. Paxtyn is a senior at Mountlake Terrace High School and an amazing leader in her school. She is the editor in chief of the school’s nationally recognized newspaper, is a LINK Crew leader for a freshman mentoring program, tutors students, volunteers in her community and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Staff members have commented on Paxtyn’s amazing leadership skills and her ability to lead her classmates through incredible example and dedication.
