Fire District 1 fire calls, Sept. 17-23

Fire District 1Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 436 calls the week of Sept. 17-23: 347 emergency medical aid calls, 31 motor vehicle collisions, 22 fires, 15 service calls, 4 natural gas leaks and 17 automatic fire alarms.

September 17
COLLISION: At 7:59 a.m., a two-car collision occurred on southbound I-5 north of I-405. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION: At 2:46 p.m., a two-car collision was reported on southbound I-405 south of I-5. Firefighters transported one patient to Evergreen Hospital.

COLLISION: At 2:54 p.m., a two-car, T-bone collision with moderate to heavy damage was reported in the 17100 block of Ash Way north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION: At 11:26 p.m., a two-car collision occurred at Highway 99 and Lincoln Way north of Lynnwood. Two people were seriously injured. Firefighters transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center and one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

September 18
COLLISION: At 6:32 a.m., a car was rear-ended by a motorcycle on southbound I-5 south of 220th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported the injured motorcyclist to Harborview Medical Center.

September 19
COLLISION: At 6:26 p.m., a collision was reported at Ash Way and Maple Road east of Lynnwood. One person was injured and transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

September 21
COLLISION: At 3:47 p.m., a two-car collision was reported in the 21700 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. One person was injured and transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

September 22
COLLISION: At 7:30 a.m., a car struck a pedestrian at 128th Street SW and E Gibson Road south of Everett. The pedestrian was injured and taken by firefighters to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

September 23
HOUSE FIRE: At 2:34 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of heavy smoke coming from a house in the 8100 block of 226th Street SW in Edmonds. The resident got out safely. The fire was contained to a bedroom. Damage is estimated at $15,000.
COLLISION: At 8:26 p.m., a three-car collision was reported in the 13800 block of Meadow Road south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
