The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will present its 13th annual Candidates Forum on Monday, Oct. 12 from 7-9 p.m. at Edmonds City Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. in downtown Edmonds.
Doors are open at 6 p.m. for the public to mingle with candidates and enjoy refreshments. The Economic Development Committee of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce presents this forum. The committee focuses on business issues and economic vitality for the greater Edmonds community. All are welcome to attend.
Candidates invited include those running for election for Edmonds Mayor and City Council, Edmonds School District Board of Directors, Hospital District 2 Commission and Port of Edmonds Commission.
This is a non-partisan forum and the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce does not endorse candidates. The format is a question-and-answer program with each candidate giving an opening and closing statement. For those unable to attend the night of the event, the forum will be broadcast live on Channel 21 and 39. It will be available following the event at www.edmondswa.com.
