Edmonds Museum Farmers Market finds on season’s last Saturday: tuna, salmon, meats, pumpkins, jams

Edmonds-Historical-Museum_Summer-Market_Logo-TanOnce again this week, Mother Nature treats us to sunshine and warmth for the market. Sadly, this Saturday marks the end of a wonderful 22 weeks of markets in Edmonds this spring and summer.

Returning this Saturday to end the season with us is St. Jude’s Tuna, with plenty of tuna to stock up on for the autumn and winter. It has me craving a tuna melt, with some cheese from Golden Glen on fresh bread from Snohomish or Aura Bakery.

So many of our wonderful vendors will be with us as we close the season, including Sky Valley, Bright Ide and Martiny Livestock, with plenty of chicken, pork, lamb and beef for you to enjoy this fall. As well as Wilson Fish with plenty of fresh and smoked salmon.

For school lunches and pies, check out the apples, pear, plums and more at Collins Family Orchards, Martin Family Orchards, Bill’s Fruits and ACMA Farms. Looking for a pumpkin, or some delicious squash, broccoli, potatoes, or peppers to enjoy? Head to Caruso Farm, Frog Song, Be Well, Alvarez, Bautista or Gypsy Rows!

If you are shopping for holiday gifts, don’t forget our wonderful processors who bring jams, syrups, sauces more every week for your enjoyment. A big thank you to Angry Fish, Bear’s Breath, Blue Cottage Jams, Four Sisters Gourmet, Aldrich Farms, Sweet Caroline’s Jams, McSweet Pickles, Joe’s Garlic Sauce, Middle Fork Roasters, Shen Zen Tea, and so many more.

Accompanying these processors are a fine selection of local artists, including wood turners, painters, photographers, silversmiths, and more than I can possibly list here.

Come on down this Saturday, and spend the day with us. Shop, laugh, plan, pick up a fall bouquet and enjoy the day! See you at the market, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and thank you all for making this season so fun for us all.

    1. City of Edmonds is actually coordinating this, not the Edmonds Museum. I would check with Patrick Doherty in Economic Development/Community Services.

  1. Saturdays 10am to 2pm beginning November 21st. Location – parking lot between the Rusty Pelican Café and City Hall. Items available: produce, meat and fish, cheese and dairy, holiday greenery and flowers, wine, jams, sweets, specialties and much more. For more information, see the City of Edmonds Community and Development Facebook page.
