At a meeting Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County and the team from “Politics of the Possible” will discuss how politics can be positive and productive. The gathering will last from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Convention Center, 3711 196th St. S.W., Lynnwood.

The panelists will discuss:
– Citizen participation
– Putting the public interest first
– Civility, respect and bipartisanship
– Willingness to compromise
– Equal representation
Panelists include State Sen. Maralyn Chase, 32nd District; State Rep. Mike Sells, 38th District, former State Rep. Mary Helen Roberts, 21st District; Alison McCaffree, Executive Director, Washington Nonprofits, Tacoma
In addition, Kenneth McCaffree, husband of author Mary Ellen McCaffree, will speak.
