Mike Meeks to speak about Iran travels at Edmonds Chamber of Commerce lunch Oct. 22

Mike Meeks of Edmonds accounting firm Dewar Meeks + Ekrem is the featured speaker at the Thursday Oct. 22 Edmonds Chamber of Commerce luncheon. The topic is “Travels to Iran — the Persian People!”

Meeks spent two weeks last summer traveling in Iran, visiting eight different cities on a 1,200-mile tour. He will be sharing his experiences, including the country’s history and culture and his overall impressions.

The luncheon begins at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. You can register online here. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
