Scene in Edmonds: Marsh scenes

From Bill Anderson: The Edmonds marsh is one of the last tidal marshes remaining in the Puget Sound region. I often run into long time local residents visiting the marsh for the first time who never knew of its existence. Monday was dark and overcast, but I got in a brief photo session before it started to rain. With the right photo angles and cropping, the marsh can look like it probably did over 100 years ago before Edmonds was developed.

The city has a link to a map showing location of the marsh here.
  1. I hope readers will click on the links and visit the marsh. It offers an unusual opportunity to observe wildlife within a highly populated urban area.

The future of the marsh is tied to other local issues such as the daylighting of Willow Creek and future development of Harbor Square, Pt. Edwards, and the Unocal site.
