Scene in Edmonds: Scarecrow entries keep coming

With the Oct. 22 deadline for entering your scarecrow into the annual Edmonds Historical Museum festival upon us, we are seeing more scarecrows popping up around town. This one is from Dewar, Meeks & Ekrem, located at 110 James St., Suite 100.
Comstock Jewelers invites you to take a picture with our friend, Desmond! Since he is always going out of his way to make people smile and feel welcome in our community, we would like to do the same by offering a $100 Gift Card to Comstock Jewelers. Simply take a picture with our Desmond Scarecrow with your biggest smile, and post it to our Facebook page. The picture with the most "likes" will receive the gift card! Be sure to tag us by using #fulfillingwishes so we can see the winner. YEAH BABY!
Comstock Jewelers chose Desmond, the popular bartender at downtown Edmonds’ Daphnes, as their scarecrow entry — with a promotional twist. If you take a picture of yourself with the Desmond Scarecrow and post it to Comstock’s Facebook page, you might win a $100 gift card.
