Scene in Edmonds: Tin Man returns

remains of two scarecrows missing since last weekend. Both had been recently entered as contestants in the Edmonds Museum’s annual scarecrow festival. Johnny Appleseed and the Tin Man were last seen Saturday night at their posts on Walnut Avenue in front of the Emerald Place Condominiums
We’re pleased to report that the Tin Man scarecrow — found in pieces at Hummingbird Park after being stolen from Emerald Place Condominiums — has been put back together, as evidenced in this photo taken Friday by Janice Carr. The Tin Man and Dorothy — now under security camera monitoring — are entered in the Edmonds Historical Museum’s Scarecrow Festival. You have until Oct. 22 to submit your entry online here.
