clothes-for-kidsAs the holidays approach, the Edmonds Chamber is getting into the giving spirit and supporting Clothes For Kids with a clothing drive.

Donations of new and gently used clothing for kids and teens may be dropped off during the month of November at the Log Cabin Visitor’s Center (121 5th Ave. N.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, or during the city’s Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. (there will be barrels placed in front of City Hall).

“Our biggest need is new underwear and socks for 4T through teen sizes,” says Nancy Laird-Burris, Program Manager at Clothes For Kids.

Clothes For Kids is a local non-profit organization that provides low-income students with school clothing. “The support of the community will help us serve more than 3,000 students this school year,” saidLaird-Burris.
