The Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden (Demo Garden) will be offering a workshop this Sunday, Nov. 22 from 1-3 p.m. with local artist and naturalist April Richardson. Attendees will learn how to make leaf prints, which can be used to create Thanksgiving cards.
All supplies and materials will be provided. Examples of Richardson’s artwork can be seen on her website www.aprilrichardsonartist.com. Events at the Demo Garden are free but donations are always appreciated to cover workshop and garden expenses.
The Demo Garden is located at the Willow Creek Hatchery on the northwest corner of Pine Street and Highway 104/Edmonds Way. Free parking is available on Pine Street with a small lot down the driveway that can be used by those with limited mobility.
For more information about events and volunteering at the Demo Garden, contact garden@pilchuckaudubon.org or call 425-771-8165.
Here’s a correction on the website for April Richardson the artist not the comedian: https://www.aprilrichardsonartist.com
Thanks – we’ve fixed it in the post as well.
