Edmonds Port Commission Report for Nov. 9

site-port-logo-blue-centeredThe Port of Edmonds Port Commission at its Monday, Nov. 9 meeting:

  • Heard a report from Greg Jacobsen of Jacobsen’s Marine. He stated that after one year their move to the Port of Edmonds has been very successful and that they look forward to another year of service to the boating community in 2016.
  • Discussed the port’s fuel dock, product availability, pricing and whether to continue to pump fuel containing ethanol or to return to the currently more expensive “clear.” No action was anticipated, but this item will likely be presented as an action item at a future commission meeting.
  • Approved a resolution establishing the amount of property tax to be levied in 2016 at $400,000—the same as last year—and a separate resolution banking excess levy capacity for 2016.
  • Approved a resolution adopting the Port budget for 2016.
