All are invited to attend the Gentle Yoga class Tuesdays from 10-11 a.m. at the Edmonds Senior Center.
Gentle yoga gives participants the chance to stretch, practice balance, keep circulation healthy, increase strength, cut down on aches and pains from arthritis and reduce stress. Students are also given practical advice on things to do at home to keep their body functioning at its best. Taught by experienced instructor Cindy Charter, the entire class can be done from a chair if hips or knees are sensitive.
The cost is $40 per month ($45 for those who are not senior center members) or drop-in for $15 per class. Contact the Senior Center at 425-774-5555 ext 108 for more information or stop by at 220 Railroad Ave., just south of the Edmonds ferry terminal.
