Edmonds-based food truck Here and There Grill is seeking donations for homeless men and women as part of its participation in the Survive the Streets event on Thanksgiving Day. On that day, Here and There Grill will be preparing and serving breakfast sandwiches and coffee to 300 homeless people.
Here and There is accepting donations of the following new or very gently used items each week until Thanksgiving.
•Sleeping bags and warm blankets
•Warm coats (men’s dark coats, L-3XL)
•Warm fleeces
•Boots
•Warm hoodies
•Duffel bags
•Backpacks
•Gloves
•Warm hats
•Waterproof tarps
•Cold/hygiene kits
This week the truck will be located at the following places:
Wednesday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., 4th and Dayton, Edmonds
Thursday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Les Schwab, Edmonds
Friday 5-8 p.m., American Brewing Co, Edmonds
Real first and last names — as well as city of residence — are required for all commenters.
