Yet another reason to trench the entire length in Edmonds and be done with it. It may have been acceptable back in the 50’s, but today it’s beyond acceptable. If Holland can trench below sea level, so can we.

Why should the citizens pay for it? The rails are used for commerce, the railroads could certainly bond for the construction taking in account the economic growth over say 25-50 years. THat is the great thing about rail, it will be in use long past most peoples lives.
