We’re pleased to welcome Cline Jewelers as a My Edmonds News sponsor, and to announce the store’s special “Locals Give Back” program next Friday and Saturday benefiting homeless students.
On Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday — Nov. 27-28 — Cline Jewelers will donate 10 percent of all sales to the Nourishing Network, a Foundation for Edmonds School District program that provides meals for homeless students.
More than 300 Edmonds School District students experience homelessness and often don’t get to eat over the weekend until school begins again on Monday, according to the Foundation. Last year Nourishing Network delivered 1,400 weekend meals made possible by financial and food donations and volunteer help.
“When I heard about how many children in our school district didn’t have food on the weekends, I was stunned.” said Cline Jewelers owner Andy Cline.
“By shopping at Cline Jewelers during Locals Give Back, you are helping us to feed our hungry and homeless children in the Edmonds School District,” said Deborah Anderson, the Foundation’s Executive Director.
All sales at Cline Jewelers, from new sales, ring sizing, watch battery replacement, and commissioned jewelry pieces, will be included in the 10 percent give back program. The jewelry store is located next to the Starbucks by the fountain and will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 27-28.
