Edmonds City Council to recognize outgoing councilmembers at Tuesday’s meeting

During its last meeting of 2015, the Edmonds City Council has s fairly short agenda but will take time at the beginning of Tuesday’s meeting to recognize outgoing City Councilmembers Joan Bloom and Lora Petso, and its student representative, Edmonds-Woodway High School’s Ferrari “Ari” Girouard.

The council is also scheduled to:

– Receive the Hearing Examiner Annual Report.

– Review and adopt the Comprehensive Emergency Plan and Debris Management Plan.

– Hear presentation of an agreement with the State of Washington Department of Ecology for a Municipal Stormwater Capacity Grant.

– Review and possibly take action on the Critical Area Regulations Update.

The meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m. with an executive session to discuss pending or potential litigation, followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N., Edmonds. You can see the complete agenda here.

  1. Well done to our outgoing Council Members, they have been committed and hardworking. Anyone running for Office and being elected needs kudos for the commitment to the citizens of Edmonds and the time it takes to fulfill their duties.
