Is your computer running too slowly? Do you know how to navigate websites? Do you have a good anti-virus? Want to be able to write and do spreadsheets for free? Want to be able to troubleshoot your own PC problems?
The Edmonds Senior Center has a 1-on-1 Computer Help class where you can learn Internet basics, find and save favorite websites, how to clean up your computer and good Internet security. Learn how to improve accessibility on your PC, increase screen resolution and enlarge your pointer. The cost for each individual appointment is just $5 for senior center members and $10 for non-members (all are welcome).
This isn’t a class to teach you to operate a computer in one hour, but it will get you started. Suggestions are given for Windows PCs and Apple Macs. (Please note that it is important that you already know your user name and password when you bring your laptop to class.)
To sign up for a one-hour session to improve your computer knowledge, call the admin office at 425-774-5555 ext 104 or just drop by. The Edmonds Senior Center is located at 220 Railroad Ave., just south of the ferry terminal.
