The City of Edmonds is again hosting its Giving Trees program in conjunction with Volunteers of America. Stop by Edmonds City Hall or the Frances Anderson Center to select a tag with the name of a person in need and their gift suggestion.
Purchase a gift and return it wrapped to either location by Friday, Dec. 11. Edmonds City Hall is located at 121 Fifth Avenue North and the Frances Anderson Center is located at 700 Main Street.
The tags are provided by Volunteers of America Western Washington and the gifts will be donated to local children and adults to help make their holiday season brighter. Volunteers of America has been working to provide vital services to the most vulnerable in Western Washington since 1898. The organization has a history of effective and compassionate assistance such as food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, youth development for at-risk children, help for adults with disabilities and many other needs-based community programs and services.
