The home in the 18200 block of 80th Avenue West had been the subject of neighborhood complaints to police and others about suspicious activity and strong odors suggesting a sizable indoor marijuana farm.  According to Edmonds police spokesman Shane Hawley, 368 plants were seized following an investigation by the South County Narcotics Task Force that started in August 2015. The narcotics unit is working with the Snohomish County Prosecutors Office on charges, Hawley said.
  1. We have complained several times about an out door grow garden in our neighborhood. Edmonds PD even come over and have used my yard to observe the garden. Several people have complained over the past 4 years of the odor and added activity and we have been told it is NOT an Edmonds Police priority. This article surprises me that anything was done. Must be a neighborhood of a council member

    1. Mr Willis we are sorry you are having similar problems in your area. How ever there are NO council members or any other prominent person in or near this neighborhood, just concerned citizens with hundreds of hours of vigilance, perseverance, and cooperation.

  2. Brian,

I suggest you pick up a phone, dial 7752525, ask for the EPD and discuss your concerns directly. You may well be pleasantly surprised. Edmonds Police are the greatest!
