Westgate Elementary students, staff and families had a very special guest appear at their morning assembly last Friday: Seattle Seahawks mascot Blitz. His visit to Westgate was part of the Westgate Fun-Run grand prize, which rewarded the student body for fundraising above and beyond their goal. Blitz entertained everyone during the highly competitive dance-off with Westgate’s own Michelle Mearns. He also mischievously helped Westgate students silly string Principal Susan Jung-Lathrop.
