City of Edmonds Arts & Culture Manager will be the guest speaker at the Friends of the Edmonds Library meeting Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Edmonds Library upstairs Plaza Room, 650 Main St.
The meeting starts with coffee at 1 p.m., followed by the speaker at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Chapin will be sharing information about the City Public Art Collection and the process for acquiring a new sculpture in front of the Library in 2016-17. Funding for the project includes private contributions from Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation and the Friends of the Edmonds Library to augment the Municipal Arts budget.
