E-W grad qualifies for Pan American Cross Country Cup

Miler Haller, an Edmonds-Woodway class of 2015 grad who now is a freshman distance runner for Boise State, finished second Saturday in the USATF Junior Cross Country Championships in Bend, Ore., qualifying him for next month’s Pan American Cross Country Cup in Venezuela.

Haller finished the 8K course with a time of 26:16, earning him an automatic spot on the U.S. team in the 2016 APA Pan American Cup in Caraballeda, Venezuela on March 5.

Miler recorded two top-10 finishes at the Washington Cross Country State Championships in his junior and senior seasons at Edmonds-Woodway.
