Current Employment: I work as a calculus tutor for the Learning Support Center at Edmonds Community College.
Future Educational Goals: I hope to transfer to a four-year university in the fall after I am done with Running Start and have graduated high school in June.
Future Career Goals: I love mathematics, I find the concepts and challenges interesting so I want to pursue a career in Engineering.
Anything else we should know? I credit part of my success to the support of my family and friends, I wouldn’t be where I am without them. I have been attending Edmonds Heights K-12 all my life until Junior year. I think it’s a really great program that allowed me to push myself and get ahead in life.

Athletics: I’ve been on Varsity Track since my freshman year, and run the 110 and 300 meter Hurdles events. Last year, I qualified for the Wesco 3A South Championships, and was 3rd at the ESD Championships for the 300 meter hurdles.

Significant School Project: I’m in the Full International Baccalaureate program at EWHS, where I have completed an Extended Essay in Biology discussing the controversy in possibly mandating vaccines across the United States, and multiple internal assessments in Math, History, Biology, Chemistry, and English. In addition, I did my Theory of Knowledge Presentation on China’s recent end to its One-Child Policy and the ethical, economic, and scientific implications of this event.
Future Educational Goals: I want to attend a four-year university where I will probably study the biological sciences and hopefully go into either pre-med or pre-dental. I also really like Math, so I’m not entirely sure what my career will end up being but I am excited to study a lot of different things.
Future Career Goals: Right now, I want to be an orthodontist but my mind changes pretty often.
Anything else we should know? My favorite movie is “Cheaper by the Dozen”, and love the TV show, “Modern Family”!

Also during the summer of 2015, I attended a week-long program called Evergreen Boys State, hosted by the American Legion, during this week we participated in an interactive state legislative program. In addition, I have participated in Debate Club during junior and senior year.
Athletics: As Captain of the Cross Country team, I have earned three varsity letters and have participated for four years. I also ran long distance for the track and field team from freshman to junior year.
Honors: I was inducted into National Honor Society during the spring of 2014.
Community Service: I have volunteered at Fabric of Life, a nonprofit organization that fights poverty in West Africa during the summer of 2015.
Significant School Project: I have helped with homecoming preparation during my junior and senior year by painting posters and participating in a class skit.
