Terrace Creek Park’s parking lot was closed Saturday morning.

Police roped off the parking lot of a Mountlake Terrace park Saturday morning so personnel could comb the area for signs of Cheryl DeBoer, a Mountlake Terrace woman who has been missing since the morning of Feb. 8.

Snohomish County Search and Rescue personnel were in Terrace Creek Park, located at 23200 48th Ave. W., to look for any trace of DeBoer, said Mountlake Terrace Police Commander Kevin Pickard.

According to Pickard, it was impossible to close the park completely because of its configuration, but taping off the parking lot would limit foot traffic. He expected the park to reopen by late Saturday afternoon.

A GoFundMe page has been created to support the family, and it had raised nearly $1,500 by Saturday afternoon.

Mountlake Terrace Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Monday morning near the Transit Center parking lot to call 425-670-8260.
