We ran this video earlier about Edmonds Police Detective Andrew Mehl’s participation in the 2016 Super Polar Plunge Feb. 5 at Seattle’s Golden Gardens Park. The fundraiser, benefiting Special Olympics Washington, required that Mehl plunge into Puget Sound every 30 minutes for 12 hours. The video captures one of Mehl’s 24 plunges.
We’ve since learned that Mehl is $500 short of his goal. If you can help, visit his personal fundraising page here.
