With a 51-point lead over the second-place team, Edmonds- Woodway appears poised to win the #A sub regional high school wrestling tournament by a wide margin. The Warriors have 156 points and 17 wrestlers in the semifinals. Second-place Glacier Peak had 105 points and 11 wrestlers in the semifinals.
Overall, the Warriors won 33 matches and lost only 11, winning 18 matches by a pin. All 17 semifinalists will place. The remaining Warriors in the tournament are still alive in the consolation bracket.
Mountlake Terrace, Meadowdale, and Lynnwood are in fifth, sixth and eighth place respectively.
Saturday wrestling starts at 10 a.m.
