Larry Vogel got this shot of the former Edmonds High School portico just after it was unwrapped at Salish Crossing Wednesday morning. t shows the current efforts to rebuild the portico that was rescued from the former Edmonds High School (now the Edmonds Center for the Arts) by Salish Crossing owner Lindsey Echelbarger after the ECA remodel.

  3. I don’t remember that “portico”, where was it in the original building and why was it even removed. I loved that old building – went to school there two years when it was Edmonds Junior High.

  4. A portico off an old building standing on the corner with no context….an interesting object no doubt but I feel it spoils the effect of the cool mid century modern building behind it.

  6. One of the ugliest , cheap looking , not matching the other buildings at all and should be rewrapped in plastic and is a piece of junk. It looks like it was made for a movie of the week.
