Edmonds Noon Rotary Club honors Meadowdale HS student

Martha Colorado, right, received the Edmonds Rotary Noon Club Student of the Month award from Richard Okimoto, on Tuesday March 8th.  Martha, a student of Meadowdale High School came with her parents to the United States just eighteen months ago not speaking a word of English. Today she speaks English clearly and with the encouragement of her family and teachers she is on a pathway towards college to advance her goal of becoming a preschool teacher.
