Friends of the Edmonds Library will meet Thursday, March 24 at 1 p.m. for coffee, followed by a 1:30 p.m. meeting with guest speaker David Glenn, Director of Camp Leo for children with diabetes.
Since 1990, Camp Leo has been dedicated to providing an overnight camping experience for children with Type 1 diabetes, where diabetes is the norm rather than the exception. Camp Leo creates a safe and secure environment where children can have fun away from home, meet other children with diabetes, learn about their disease, and gain independence essential for living a healthy and happy life.
The meeting is at the library’s upstairs Plaza Room, 650 Main St. Admission is free. You can learn more about the Friends of the Edmonds Library here.
