A new Veterans One-Stop Resource Center has opened in Lynnwood to serve veterans and their families.
The center will be staffed by local professionals who are available to help with referrals to Veterans Affairs, medical and employment assistance and career transitions.
The Veterans One-Stop Resource Center will open every Tuesday and the first Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, located at 4710 196th St. S.W.
“The ultimate goal is to make Lynnwood and South Snohomish County a veteran-supportive community,” Lynnwood Mayor Nicola Smith said. “We need to be a community that embraces veterans and their families by supporting their needs, connecting them to needed services and honoring their service in our Armed Forces.”
