Scene in Edmonds: Noontime Rotary Club honors April Student of Month

 Michael Fishmen’s natural sense of humor brought abundant laughter to The Noontime Rotary Club on April 10th. Michael received this month’s Student of the Month award from Beth Westenhaver-Kealy, Rotary President and Richard Okimoto, New Generations Service Chair on Tuesday April 12th. Michael is an active leader and fully engages in scholastic and extracurricular activities. He also brings humor into the events he enjoys which include choir and vocal jazz. He’s lettered in Cross Country and has been on the soccer team for 2 years. So whether he chooses the University of Oregon or the University of Washington they will enjoy this students sense of humor along with his scholastic abilities.   Fishman is active in choir and vocal jazz, has lettered in cross country and has been on the MHS soccer team for two years.
