The Edmonds SnoKing Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet Saturday, May 14 at Edmonds Community College, Snohomish Hall Room 338. The speaker will be Codi Hamblin of the North Cascades Institute, who will talk about the preservation of the region.
The group will also honor its Young Scholars and High School Scholarship recipients who have excelled in their pursuit of studies in science, technology, engineering or math.
The AAUW May Branch Business Meeting will follow.
The event will be from 10 a.m.-noon at the college, located at 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served and there is no charge.
