Janette Turner took in the sights, smells and tastes at H Mart, located in the former Mervyn’s store across from Lynnwood’s Alderwood Mall. According to the store website, H Mart is an Asian-inspired supermarket, started in 1982 in Queens, New York. H Mart is short for “Han Ah Reum,” which just happens to mean “One Arm Full of Groceries.”
The chain now has more than 60 stores across the U.S.
