The Edmonds Senior Center’s recent fundraising auction raised $55,000, the senior center announced.
The second annual gala dinner and auction included a variety of items generously donated from our local businesses.
“A big ‘Thank You; to our emcee Mike Reagan and auction chair Cheryl Reagan for all of their hard work in making the evening a great success,” the senior center announcement said.
At the culmination of the evening, Mayor Dave Earling presented the “E Award” to the senior center’s thrift store manager, Barbara Halseth. The award is given to a volunteer who has demonstrated energy, enthusiasm and effort during the past year.
The event was sponsored by Environmental Works, Magic Toyota, Rick Steves Europe, Michael Reagan, Daniel Johnson and Elaine Sonntag.
