Nearly 20 members of the Edmonds Rotary Noon Club spent two hours picking up trash at Brackett’s Landing Saturday morning. Rotarian Scott James, who also serves as the City of Edmonds finance director, said that the goal was both to provide a valuable community service and to increase the visibility of work that Rotary does locally.
The Edmonds Rotary Noon Club also sponsors the yearly Edmonds Waterfront Festival, which is scheduled this year for June 3-5 at the Port of Edmonds Marina. A 5K Waterfront Festival fun run June 4 will benefit Washington Kids in Transition. You can learn more about the Waterfront Festival and run registration here.
