Most art lovers know Chuck Close is an international superstar, but few know he was born in Monroe, Wash., and attended Everett Community College. A show paying tribute to the genius of Chuck Close with 90 major works is currently on display at Everett’s Schack Art Center.

The Chuck Close show runs until Sept. 5. Schack Art Center is located 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett, WA. Open Mon. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sun. noon to 5 p.m. For a complete schedule, see here.
