Shoreline will host the 42nd Annual Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) Friday, May 27 (tomorrow) at an Opening Night event to be held in the Shoreline Community College Theater.
SIFF is currently the largest, most well attended film festival in the United States.
“Neighboring cities are invaluable ambassadors for the unique experiences SIFF creates through film,” said SIFF Artistic Director Carl Spence. “We are thrilled to be extending north to include Shoreline Community College as a new venue for SIFF 2016. The City of Shoreline and Shoreline Community College have embraced this groundbreaking collaboration and we look forward to a strong and long-lasting partnership as we bring the exceptional programming of the region’s most illustrious film festival closer to home for so many movie lovers.”
The Shoreline expansion of SIFF provides accessibility for families and students alike to the uniquely diverse film programming while skipping the freeway commute and benefitting from the abundant free parking on campus.
Shoreline Opening Night Film: The Tenth Man
7:00pm this Friday, May 27 with the screening of The Tenth Man, which won a Best Acting Award at Tribeca Film Festival. Film tickets are available at siff.net
