College Place Middle School to host recycling event June 4

305147_276024445750906_1501011263_nCollege Place Middle School is hosting a metal and electronics recycling event this Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the CPM east parking lot. 7501 208th St. S.W. Lynnwood.

There is no charge for recycling, but the school’s Parent Staff Organization will happily accept donations, which will go toward teacher and student supplies and activities scholarships.

Services will be provided by 1 Green Planet, which recycles all metal, including appliances big and small, electronics, video/cameras, computers, exercise equipment, stereos, chargers, vehicles, bikes, medical equipment, batteries, metal furniture, lawnmowers and garden tools. There is a $30 charge for any appliance containing freon. They do not accept wood furniture, chemicals, tires, light bulbs or glass.
