The Man Who Came to Dinner

Edmonds-Woodway High School’s (EWHS) production of “The Man Who Came to Dinner” will open Thursday, June 9.

The four-show run will include 7 p.m. performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (June 9-11) with a Sunday, June 12 matinee at 3 p.m.

A popular classic, “The Man Who Came to Dinner” by Moss Hart & George S. Kaufman is the final production for the EWHS 2015-16 academic year.

The three-act comedy debuted at New York’s Music Box Theatre stage in 1939 and has been reintroduced in radio, television and film versions.

A synopsis is provided by Fandango.com: While on a lecture tour in Ohio, Professor Sheridan Whiteside slips on the ice outside his hosts’ home; until his broken leg heals, his hosts are forced to put up (and put up with) the imperious Whiteside.

Tickets are available at the door of the school’s Black Box Theatre, 7600 212th St. S.W.
