St. Hilda St. Patrick Episcopal Church, 15224 52nd Ave. W., is holding an “Edmonds Prayer Vigil for Orlando and Beyond” Wednesday, June 15, 6:30 p.m.
The church says there will be “time for silence and prayer; we will remember those who died, and have the opportunity to make our individual prayers.”
All are welcome.

Very good to hear. There is a similar service to be held tonight at Trinity Episcopal, downtown. In view of the many “religion is bad” comments one reads in the general press, it is good to know that the Episcopal Church – like our own United Methodist Church in Edmonds – stands strong in both empathy and welcoming equality for all.
