“Military jeeps would be great but classic cars, particularly if they are open, would also be great,” said VFW member Jim Traner. Anyone who is interesting in helping can contact Carl Kurfess at 206-914-1656.
The parade begins at 6th and Main and vehicles should be at the front of the parade no later than 10:30 a.m. on July 4, Traner said. The veterans’ groups lead the parade, which begins at noon.
