Every year, 7-Eleven locations nationwide give away a free small Slurpee on July 11 for 7-Eleven Day, available from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. But this year, the store has a special celebration planned for the signature drink’s 50th birthday.
The chain also plans to release a birthday cake flavor Monday to mark the drink’s birthday.
