The Edmonds City Council’s Tuesday, Aug. 9 night work session includes the following agenda items:
– A presentation from the Edmonds Climate Protection Committee and an update on its actions and activities.
– Consideration of an amendment to the city’s lease agreement with the Edmonds Senior Center to accommodate a grant proposal to help fund construction of a new multigenerational waterfront activity center.
– Further discussion regarding the city council’s practice of conducting quasi-judicial land use hearings.
– An update on the Civic Center Master Plan including a summary of open house feedback and stakeholder notes.
The 7 p.m. council meeting will be preceded by a 6:30 executive session, closed to the public, regarding pending or potential litigation. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. You can see the complete agenda here.
