Scene in Edmonds: Raven respite

A lone raven continues to hang out in the vicinity of the parking lot at the south end of the Edmonds Marina between Admiral Way and the railroad tracks. Tuesday morning (8/16) I initially did not see it perched in a tree, but its calls were quite distinctive and drew me to its location. 1. Hey Bill great shots! I was there in the afternoon, the Raven, about 40 crows and some type of hawk were all there. The crows kept chasing the Hawk around the marina, could hear the Raven but could not see it.:-)

  2. They are very intelligent birds..be nice to them they have a good memory…if they are squawking at you it’s probably that you are close to the nests
